Many people are looking for some weight loss help throughout our country today. I recently read an article that Dr. Oz wrote about Tony Horton and his eating habits. If you aren't familiar with Tony Horton, he is the creator and trainer in the P90X videos. He has given thousands upon thousands of people weight loss help with his incredible workout program. What many people don't realize is that Tony has an incredible nutritional program that goes along with it. What Dr. Oz likes about Horton's method to weight loss is his philosophy of eating clean.
What is eating clean anyway? How will it provide you with weight loss help? Eating clean is an important part of being as healthy as possible. It means that there are no preservatives, additives, or chemicals in your foods. If you can't pronounce an ingredient in your food, then most likely its some sort of chemical created in a lab that is going to end up in your body.
These chemicals will not give you any weight loss help even if they are designed to do that in many cases. People like Tony Horton who eat clean know that it's these mystery ingredients that you shouldn't be eating at all. What I like about the weight loss help that Horton gives is that he follows and promotes the 90-10 rule. Eat clean foods 90% of the time not 100%. I know from experience that I need to have a cheat day once in awhile and so does just about everybody. That little 10% gives you the ability to enjoy something you love like chocolate or pasta without feeling guilty.
This is good weight loss help because it allows you to work toward your goal. However, you don't have to be perfect.
Here's how the plan works. For the 90%, you need to pick foods that have only one ingredient. Sounds easy doesn't it? Well, next time you're at the store take a look at the ingredient label of the packaged foods you usually buy. Not much weight loss help here is what you'll soon realize. The next step is to buy the other 10%. These are the "dirty foods". Everyone likes to get a little "dirty" once in awhile, so have some fun too. Just remember that you asked for the weight loss help, so keep the 10% right there. Enjoy 10, but don't do 11!
The next question you most likely have is how do I find clean foods that will help me reach my goals. Here are some important things you should remember.
First, cook your food yourself. If you're like me, this may be tough at first, but soon you will begin to have fun with it because you are going to see results. I found that as I began to feel better, I enjoyed buying and cooking my food even more. Next, make sure you avoid artificial sweeteners.
These can give you various health issues that hinder the weight loss help that eating clean provides. They are not the "magic pill" to losing pounds. Instead use natural sweeteners like raw sugar, honey or agave. You also want to avoid high fructose corn syrup and soda, both of which can cause serious health issues over time.
There are many places where you can go to find all kinds of clean foods and recipes that will give you the weight loss help you need to succeed. I highly recommend that you start an exercise program to go along with your new nutrition plan.
What you'll find is that as you get in better shape and work out harder you'll need to eat more food to stay energized. Now that's the best weigh loss help I've ever heard of. Eat more, lose weight! I've been successful with following a clean eating diet and you can be too. With a clean diet, exercise and support you will begin to see results in no time.
Exercise + Nutrition + Support = Success. Learning to eat clean and beginning to exercise is a great start. Support from a coach is what will keep you on track to reach your goal.
